The initial idea and push to trade Bradford…it was Demoff’s. Demoff shared it with Snead and they came to the conclusion that they could trade him for Foles. They then engaged Fisher. There was no comment on Fisher’s position but obviously Fisher gave it his blessing.

I found that to be interesting…Demoff of all people.

My friend is a die hard season ticket holder. He’s been to all seaon ticket holder events and the Sports Commission meetings.

He called me specifically to say what Demoff said because he was surprised…especially since Demoff was so forthcoming. From Demoff’s mouth…Demoff brought up the idea of trading Bradford. Demoff said it…not a third party. That is not initiating a trade. That is putting an idea…maybe a sacred cow…on the table.

And why would my friend call me to make that up? Nope…

He knows what he heard…as part of key the season ticket holder crowd and being on the Sports Commission, he gets to hear Demoff a lot. Demoff said he (Demoff) was the one who brought it up. And, my buddy said after hearing Demoff talk about it, he believed him.

I thought the interesting part was that Snead and Demoff agreed on it and then went to Fisher. In the end, they were all on the same page. I think that is totally plausible. The key here is no one did anything without getting everyone’s buy in.

On a side note, he says Demoff told the group he is not in the inner circle on the St. Louis to LA move and honestly doesn’t know where Kroenke is on the process other than what we already know. My friend said Demoff is either a great actor or he is sincere.
