    Direct upfront money in bonuses means cash flow. Yes ultimately the cap comes out of league and team earned revenue, but bonuses mean that the cash has to be there now.

     

    i was watching keyshawn talk about this.  i was trying to find the video, but i have no idea where it is.

     

    you got billionaire owners.  and then you’ve got billionaire owners who are liquid.  meaning they can just drop cash at the drop of a hat whereas others have a lot of their money tied up in different things.  so while the cap is hard.  there are ways to manipulate it if you have the buying power.  of course.  in the end you will be in cap hell for awhile.

     

    but they probably figure they have only so many years of aaron donald.  so many years of matt stafford.  and mcvay probably takes a break at some point.  so at that point it may not really matter.

    geez.

    there’s stafford on one end.  and then there’s goff…  all the way on the other end…

    The juxtaposition of Stafford and Goff does catch the eye, doesn’t it?
