Off of twitter. Someone from PFF (I think) compared AD to Reggie White and pointed out that White ended with 100 more sacks than AD. I responded. The knives came out. “Knives” in this case being objective use of stats.
.
zn@znramsfanHow many defensive tackles have more sacks than Donald? White played DE..RW had 198 sacks in 15 seasons playing (mostly) DE. Avg. 13.2 a season. AD has had 98 sacks in 8 seasons playing DT. Avg. 12.4 a season. 12.4 a season, playing DT. The only DT in the top 20 all-time sack leaders, Randle, averaged 9.8 a season..If AD plays 14 seasons like JR did he will have 173.5 career sacks, 36 more than John RandleI guess that stuff still needs to be explained. 🤨

February 20, 2022 at 11:09 pm #136833ZooeyModeratorThey need to stop those interviews on the field. They are embarrassing. They’re embarrassing to the audience, to the player, AND to the interviewer.
Just wait until after the orgasm is over.

I like that bit, Z. I don’t find it embarassing. We just see it differently. So in honor of diversity, your fines for this offense will not be as draconian as usual.

We know the Rams* tied the record for most sacks in a game with 7. They tied Pittsburgh in SB X, Chicago in XX and Denver* in SB L. Von Miller played in 2 of those games and is now tied with Charles Haley for the most career SB sacks (4.5). He had 2.5 vs Carolina and 2 vs Cincinnati. The Rams (43) and Bengals (79) had the second lowest output for rushing yards by both teams (122). Arizona (33) and Pittsburgh (58) in SB43 (92) are #1.
Consequently, it was only the 4th SB without a rushing touchdown, joining SB X (Pittsburgh vs Dallas), SB XV (Oakland vs Philadelphia) and SB XXIII (Bengals vs SF).

Can point to INTs, but they were really only INTs on the stat sheet and Brady threw two in 2014 against SEA.February 23, 2022 at 2:00 am #136871znModeratorScrolling through the camera roll and found this gem. 😮💨 pic.twitter.com/ZWRrB4h7DM

You know we actually haven’t seen a lot of back shoulder passes with the Rams over the years.
