The Rams tonight announced that a player tested positive for COVID-19. That player entered immediate self-quarantine, and the team will enter intensive protocol. Football activities will take place remotely on Wednesday and staff will work from home. Rams are working with NFL.

For the Rams, who currently are working virtually after a positive test, intensive protocol is pretty close to standard procedure when they do get back in the building – they work outdoors in The Tent for most team meetings, are virtual otherwise and are masked.

They’ll ramp up some things as dictated by protocol, including wearing masks at all times – even during the full duration of practice.

I am not thrilled to learn that 3 Rams players tested positive.

They are practice squaders though, so it’s not a bad version of this scenario.
