“I just think they’re immature, they’ve always been immature. They have high highs and low lows. They have active, dynamic personnel but not consistent personnel. They don’t have guys that show up every week and play at the same level of intensity and consistency.”

“You talk to football people around the league and they feel the same way I do. They’re the biggest tease in the league. They look great on paper. They look great one week and then horrible the next.”

In his ESPN meeting before the game he said “I guarantee you the Rams lose to the Redskins today because that’s who the Rams are. They are an immature football team. Mature football teams bring a level of consistency each week. I wouldn’t want to play them Sunday off of a loss though because they’re good is really good.”

there’s probably a lot of truth to that.

    they’re a very young team.

i do think that eventually a good team will come out of this. but i wonder if fisher will still be the head coach when that happens.

Well, I dunno. I think if you look at the Fisher years,
sure, they have been inconsistent, and they’ve had a lot of Young
players, and sometimes maybe they’ve been what Trent calls “immature”.

But its also true that they’ve played a LOT of games with a no.2 or no.3 QB,
as we all know. And they didnt always have the talent on defense
they have right now. This is the first year I’ve looked up and down
their roster and thought to myself — this team is not talent-deficient
at key positions. I mean, they are as talented as the Seahawks now.
That just wasn’t the case in past years, imho.

I guess my point is, THIS talented-version of the Rams
has only played TWO games. So…we’ll see if they are “Immature”.
I have to see more than one home game and one road game to say
    much though.

Thats just me though. I know others disagree. Let a thousand flowers bloom.

it’s a trend we’ve seen though the past several years.

but maybe this is the season they reverse that. foles stays healthy. the oline gels. running backs get healthy. everyone is happy.

or foles gets injured. the oline is patchy. running backs have no holes to run through. everyone cries.

    or something in between.

    i hate weekdays.

Could Immaturity be caused by constantly putting rookies in key roles. Just a thought.

Dilder might be right, but I still wanna kick his ass.

I don’t agree with letting that occur. A thousand? That’s way too many.

Fucking back up to Tony Banks in Baltimore and back up to Shawn Hill in SF?? Fuck this guy…

He’s lucky he only needed to complete 12 passes in the Super Bowl. Ravens won in spite of him.

When asked about allegations that his team was too immature, Chris Long replied, “I know you are but what are we?”
