    so i was just looking at championship victories and the rams place in the nfl.

     

    in the super bowl era, the rams rank only 11th among all nfl teams with 2 super bowls.  if they win one more, they will move up to a tie for sixth with the broncos, commanders, and raiders.  if they win two more, they’ll move all the way up to a tie for fifth with the packers and giants.  they also currently are tied for sixth for super bowl appearances with 5.

     

    when you expand to nfl championships across all eras, the rams are tied for ninth with 4 championships.  two more championships would move them all the way to a tie for fourth with the patriots and steelers.  they are currently ranked sixth among all teams with 10 championship appearances.

     

    this is all to say that i hope the rams can get some momentum going.  is it possible?  could they win one or two more championships in the mcvay era?

    Rams are 5th all time in NFL Championship game appearances with 10.

    Bears lead with 22. Packers are second with 19.

    I’m not talking about conference championship games. This is NFL championships including Super Bowls…
