Orlovsky said that there wasn’t a defensive breakdown on that 70 yd pass to Kupp. He said Stafford held the safety in the center of the field with his eyes so that Kupp could break open.
I don’t think there was, either. Arians said not everybody blitzed who was supposed to, but the only guy up there who didn’t blitz is the guy with the green sticker on his helmet. He knew what the call was because he’s the one that made it.
Arians was just covering for Bowles.
