CBS has a ranking of potential wild card teams, and this is what they say about the Rams:
“They bought their title; now they’re paying the price.”
That may be the lousiest analysis I’ve ever seen. Neither one of those things is true, nor are they related in any way.
Besides which…any fair analysis would point out that the Rams are about to embark on a 7-game winning streak to end the regular season as they “run it back” with another title. So much for “paying the price.”
