Laram — people dont like Steve Smith…
until he’s your teammate.
But players like him are just what the Rams need.
He and receivers like Boldin are so crafty that they provide tremendous value for young qb’s as well as young receivers.
Steve Smith beats Revis for a TD. Probably 95% of the receivers in the league don’t make that play.
Smith knows that Revis likes to get his hands on you and get into your body and redirect you. Revis is so strong that he just overpowers most receivers.
SS knows that and he knows he can’t outrun Revis anymore, so he meets his physicality and knocks his arms away which prevents him from getting on him.
Once he does it creates room for the slant and its SIX.
Just a veterans move, that all young receivers can benefit from.
I guess Britt has brought a little of that to the Rams.
