He just said that they’ve kept Snead to “do paperwork and stuff, but he is gone on Sunday night”…..says he talks to Demoff frequently and Demoff will choose the new coach.

Get us Sean Peyton & Chris Ballard and we will start to collect a hole lot of wins JMHODecember 29, 2016 at 9:29 pm #62024JackPMillerParticipantI really like Ballard from KC. Eric DeCosta of the Ravens,
Will McClay of the Cowboys
Alonzo Highsmith of the PackersBut if the Rams want to win, they need to hire JackPMiller. Just saying.
December 29, 2016 at 10:00 pm #62025PressureD41Participant1st off Jack we all know even Stan can’t afford you LOL.. I was on the Eric DeCosta train back in 2012, and that just a dream for us I think. If we get Eric I would go crazy! Its been forever since we had a real football guy in charge. It will be interesting to see what they do, do they do a quick fix or stay true to their word and change shit up!!!
Jack if you get hired I expect a suite for the Huddle for a game!!!

Why not? What have the experts ever brought to the table but failed picks, failed trades and losing seasons? I suggest this slogan on all jerseys, Making The Rams Great Again.

Well, ok, but I’d probly keep Snead and dump Demoff.I guess most of us would grade Snead at around a B-
Its not like they cant do better. But they
could do a lot worse.w

That may be a selling point to a guy like that. I’m not saying it’s a good or bad thing but Shanahan is likely to have multiple offers and you may need every selling point you can get.
I don’t have a problem with keeping Snead, particularly. But on the other hand I want the Rams to be able to get the best guy possible and the job just looks a little more attractive if the whole operation is offered.

The rumor before this one was that Snead would be part of the coaching search.
And in fact so far that seems to be true:
After Fisher was fired, the Rams appointed special teams coordinator John Fassel as the interim head coach for the final three games. The Rams lost all three and Fassel had a meeting Monday evening with executive vice president of football operations and chief operating officer Kevin Demoff and general manager Les Snead about his future.
