Another poor coaching performance by Jeff Fisher and his crew. It really gets scary nextweek against Atlanta. That makes 7 losses in our last 8 games.

I do not like this ram team.

    I do not like them.
I would not watch them in a boat.
I would not watch them on a train.
I would not watch them with a fox.

I do not like this ram team.

That is all on Jeff Fisher. It is sad, he gets an extension, and probably miss out on hiring a real Head Coach.

    I like watching Goff.

More of a game this time if the receivers catch the ball. 29 targets, 12 receptions.

A couple were “high sails” from Goff but not all of them by a longshot.

They only lost by 16 points. IN New England! I think that is a bold statement by the Rams that they are headed in the right direction. I don’t think it’s crazy to see them losing a game like this by less than 10 points in a couple years. Exciting times ahead.

How did the Rams get a TD? FOX switched the game to New Orleans with 10:48 remaining.

The upside to being a Rams fan is heartbreak.

    Sprinkles are for winners.

Sixty yard pass to britt took it to the one. Then TD pass to britt.
    All in garbage time.

I didn’t count Gurley. Just receivers (and TEs). By that counts its 29 T, 12 R.

Britt held on to 2 passes? He needs a contract extension.

It felt to me, the Patriots were taking it easy on us. If they wanted to, the Patriots could of scored 50 on us. Just another poor performance by this coaching staff.

    What I thought I watched

I figured Fisher was extended and it was just a matter of time before it was made public.

Goff still impresses….he’s a hard guy to tackle, kinda reminds me of a lighter Rothlisburgher (sp?)

Receivers dropped several balls that were put on the money, although I still think the offensive game plan is woefully lacking.

The punt return team surely missed TA

For a team that was lacking on the pass rush front, NE sure put pressure on Goff all night…I watched Havenstein get ran over and Grob is a step slow.

Grob is not a LT he needs to be moved inside next year.

Mo Alexander has done his version of a Ballerina 2 weeks in a row now. Quit spinning in a circle and tackle the guy.

TruJO needs to be signed next year

The Rams D-line had every run stopped inside but when the back broke it outside they had no answer. This tells me this is an undisciplined D.

They need to draft a real OLB next year

this team is in trouble. there’s too many problems. oline, receivers, safety, maybe even running back. quinn is done. even when he was playing, he wasn’t his old self.

4th and 1 and you give up a 40+ yard td? it’s not just one play. it’s that we see these things happen over and over again.

That’s one hell of an offense I listened to, driving home from Roseville.

The announcers (LA on Sirius) said the Rams were screaming at each other on the sidelines before the second half kickoff.

    Well done, Fisher.

That is how they are coached. Fisher is losing this team, but Stan doesn’t care. But when he sees all those empty seats next year, especially the home opener.

Goff truly looked like a rookie against Belichick’s defense. The Rams’ o-line didn’t play well and allowed too much pressure but even when they gave Goff enough time he often held the ball too long. The pocket awareness we saw from Goff was gone in this game but I think that was because he was confused by what he was seeing. His accuracy wasn’t great either. He also threw some nice passes that were dropped though.

Overall I thought the defense played pretty well considering they were on the road facing Tom Brady. The Rams offense gave them no help and put them in bad situations a few times.

At halftime the Patriots had a tribute to the 2001 team that “beat” the Rams in Super Bowl 34. They had a bunch of players from that team on hand and Bob Kraft gave a speech about how the Greatest Show on Turf was defeated by “The Greatest Team on Earth”. During the speech he implied the 2001 Rams were a collection of prima donnas whereas the Pats were a true ‘team’. He said something like only a team committed to hard work and blah, blah, blah, deserves to win the Super Bowl. I turned to my wife and said at a pitch loud enough for everyone around me to hear “by ‘dedicated to hard work’ he means ‘taping their opponents practices'”. The Pats fans around me got quiet for a second and glared at me and I figured I might be in for some trouble but they just let it go.
