    Oliver Stone wrote Conan The Barbarian. I did not know that. He also wrote Scarface.

    Directed Midnight Express, Platoon, W, Born On The 4th Of July, Any Given Sunday, Salvador, Natural Born Killers, Nixon, Heaven And Earth, JFK, Snowden, Savages, Talk Radio, Wall Street, among others.

    I think Any Given Sunday was his best film, btw.

    I liked Platoon a lot. Didn’t see many of the others.

    Wonder if he will do a Trump movie.

    I can see the complaints about Stone–he over dramatizes. But his films are always filled with great moments even when I don’t completely like them overall. That was true of “Any Given Sunday.” I liked “Platoon” too.
