I watched the Brown game on replay, and i dont have
anything new to add to what everyone’s already said.
Janoris looks like a new player this year. He not
only is covering consistently, he’s become an
excellent tackler which i never expected.
The redzone defense is something that reminds
me of the old Patriots defense from the early
superbowl years. The Rams are still giving up big plays
but not TD’s and they tighten up in the redzone.
Thats a significant and welcome change.
The passing game is so atrocious I cant
bear to even think of a third and long.
Barron, and Hayes and Simms and Westbrooks
and TJ and McLeod were all fun to watch in that
game. And some guy named Gurley was pretty good.
Playing with the lead is so much different.
If Foles had had to play catch up I think
we’d have seen four more INTs. At this point,
with the OLine being a mess, Foles cannot
be asked to stay in the pocket and sling
the ball around.
