I’m not going to go out of my way to collect them, the way I once did, zine-fashion.

If anyone sees a fan camp report they like start (or join) a “fan camp report” thread and add em on.

I’m not collecting them for 2 reaons. (1) this year the space at camp–in the new location–is much more crowded and vision is much more curtailed, which means reports can’t offer as much. The days of Fast Eddie and Old Coach appear to be gone. (2) official reporters have long since caught on to the popularity of camp reports, so they’re filling in. I expect to get a lot of material to post from, among others, Rodrigue, Klein, Jackson, and Long. In a lot of ways the kind of great energy once associated with fan camp reports has been taken over by official reporters, who basically have learned from and now emulate the fan camp report genre.

LMU more controlled, definitely closer in the bleachers, that’s the only viewing option. Irvine you could walk around, see pretty much anything and everything, stand at the fence watch Morris working out Jalen, etc. Irvine more controlled, you sit in bleachers and see what you see…
