ParticipantAny thoughts? Preferences? Any Super Bowl match up you’d like to see?
Do we want a Three-peat?Gotta say, I always look forward to Chiefs vs Bills. I have nothing against the Chiefs, but I suppose I’d like to see the fans of Buffalo finally get their Ring. I still remember the Marv Levy years.
Dont really care about Philly vs Washington. Cant say i like either team.

ModeratorSuppose the best game would be Chiefs/Eagles.
But I agree, Buffalo has to win one. It’s past time. Not that I would watch a Bills super bowl. If they did go to the big game, though, I think them losing would be such a downer. “Again??”

ModeratorI have no affection for any of the teams. I do have less hatred for Washington than I used to, since they got rid of the blatantly offensive nickname, and their blatantly offensive owner, but I still don’t like them. And I don’t like Philly either, even if I don’t actively hate them. They just kinda suck. Jared Verse is right about their fans, btw.
I am neutral towards the Bills and Chiefs. I guess if you tell me I have to pick a team to win it all, I will go with the Chiefs. Just because that will get people saying that Brady never won 3 in a row. Buffalo…you know…that’s a community that deserves one, I guess. The Sabres lost 2 Stanley Cups, and the Bills notoriously lost 4 Super Bowls. I’m okay with finally giving that city a slice of pie. No objection. But I don’t really care.

ModeratorI hate’m all so I don’t care which teams win. I’m just hoping for competitive, entertaining games.
I must say I do have a modicum of affection for Washington, the way they stuck a dagger in the hearts of Dan Campbell and those detestable Lions fans.

I think that in the Blue Board Charter, it was determined that nobody could have affection for Washington, and our forefathers made no mistakes; they served the lord. That Charter was passed on through multiple boards, and still exists here today.
So I’m going to ask you to leave.

There was a little known codicil in that Charter that stated that one can show a smidgen of appreciation for a lesser enemy if they inflict a substantial amount of pain upon a greater enemy, so…

ModeratorI can’t help but think that I would be more interested in this weekend if the Rams were playing the Commanders.

Well, I’ve moved past this season and am in the process of getting stoked for next season. Next year’s Super Bowl venue is Levi Stadium.
I really, really want the Rams to be there.

I thought it was in Levi this year.
Well, that’s good because it gives me time to get filthy rich. I’m thinking that if I can get my net worth up to $100 million by next season, I’ll just attend the Super Bowl in person to see the Rams play. I’ve never been to a Super Bowl, and don’t have much desire to attend one, but since the Rams will be in it, and I won’t have to travel far, I think I should do it this once.

This is HUGE.
– #eagles DT Jalen Carter is destroying games.
– #commanders RG Sam Cosmi tore his ACL last week. He had missed 1 snap this season.
– Per @NextGenStats the Commanders allowed a 45.0 QB pressure rate after Cosmi left Divisional Round last week. Washington allowed just a 17.6 QB pressure rate with Cosmi on the fieldJanuary 26, 2025 at 7:47 pm #154964InvaderRam

ModeratorSo much for the Commandos. 11 of 25 on 3rd & 4th downs v. allowing 6 of 11, plus allowing 6.4 per rush to the Eagles. 4 turnovers including 3 fumbles.
Bills and Chiefs still playing.

ModeratorIt’s the Chefs and Iggles.
I like it. Red v. Green. Contrast.
And 2 top 10 defenses.
Rematch. Andy Reid v. his old team, again.

ModeratorThe Chiefs waited all season to call a designed run for Patrick Mahomes
They used the entire game to set up the Bills defense for this play.
Here’s three plays, including the two before the touchdown run, that show how the Chiefs set up success. pic.twitter.com/CYTC4NzNui— Geoff Schwartz (@geoffschwartz) January 29, 2025
