    xyz

In 2012, how many players were on the roster who were Rams in previous seasons?

    24. Or, based on the whole roster for the entire season (and not just the week 1 roster), 40.7%. (It’s based on the whole roster for the season because no one online gives you just the week 1 roster.)

    That includes 12 starters.

How will that compare to the week 1 roster, 2017?

    Stay tuned.

Regardless of how many players remain on the roster I think it’s safe to say that McVay is inheriting a lot more talent than Fisher did.

    on defense. yes.

on offense. well. that depends on a lot of question marks. at the top of the list is goff. if he’s a bust, well then let’s hope cousins is available next year, and he wants to team up with mcvay again.

    That’s it right there. Thanks.

So I will re-do the numbers.

This changed quickly, but week 1 it was still 24 carryovers, which is 45% of a 53 man roster.

They don’t list Barnes and Reynolds though, but Salas (and one other I lost track of) didn;t make it very far into the season so it evens out.

Maybe Barnes was on the practice squad, but he is listed as being on the roster for 15 games here: http://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/ram/2012_roster.htm
