Okay, so I arrived in LA Friday morning at 8am. And since then, I have been doing nothing but track the Rams. (and some theatre stuff in the cracks).
What I can report at this point is that every restaurant in Los Angeles is the Official Home of the Rams, and that the buses are wrapped in pictures of Tavon Austin making a leaping grab over the slogan, “We’re back home.”
Lots of people with Los Angeles Rams t-shirts have been planted on the streets. Lots. And I’ve seen a few Gurley II jerseys. Clearly there is a conspiracy of some sort to make it look like the Rams are popular here.
Alright. I don’t want to overload you guys with these Xs and Os, so I will wait until breakfast to give you more insight.

Have fun in LA!

October 9, 2016 at 7:04 am #54836nittany ramModeratorGood work getting to LA unobserved, Operative 32.
But don’t lose focus on the mission.
You’re there for one reason only…to neutralize LeSean McCoy before the game.
So stay on task.
Once McCoy is neutralized, you will assume his identity and take his place in the game so as not to raise suspicion among other Bills players.
Should you not survive the beating at the hands of Aaron Donald et al (and it’s likely you won’t) just know that Rams fans everywhere will forever appreciate your sacrifice.
Actually they won’t because it would probably be best if no one ever knew about any of this, so…
Anyhow, good luck.

If the Rams are losing at halftime I would suggest you leave immediately because clearly you’re a curse and are affecting things on the field. If they do win this thing I’ll expect you to make every home game(yes–including the one in England)to make sure they continue to roll.
Frankly, it’s the least you can do.
I’ll be doing my part by making sure I continue wearing these “lucky” socks which I’ve had on since game #2. No–I will NOT take them off as long as the Rams are winning. I don’t care about the wife making me sleep in the car. Some things are too important.
Have fun!!!!!

vSummer of 1984. I had season tickets to the LA Express ($100 for nine regular season home games, plus pre-season). The last game I attended was the longest game in professional football history – a playoff game against the Michigan Panthers that lasted 93 minutes before the Express won it. They had Steve Young, Jo Jo Townsell, Gary Zimmerman…among others.

vOctober 9, 2016 at 12:40 pm #54858sdramParticipantSounds like a ton of fun. Can you handle that? A Ram win would make it even more fun.
If I ever go and we’re talking about next season perhaps, I’d like to check out somewhere in Koreatown for food after the game.

You were to eliminate LeSean McCoy and then assume his identity.
That’s it!
You mission dossier said nothing about running for a buck fifty on 18 carries!
The point was to ensure a Rams victory, dunderhead!
October 11, 2016 at 1:08 pm #54993joemadParticipantDOOD!! I was there on Sunday……
I met up with Les (LSJ1962) from the herd board who scored us the tix and parking….. he had a great tailgate going….
we were in row 97, one row from the very top….. field view on the 10 yard line… despite the distance from the field… the seats were actually pretty good………. we had blast despite the outcome and Fisher’s game day management…..
I seen the Rams play in Seattle, Candlestick, Levi, Oakland and Anaheim…. now I’ve finally saw them at LA Coliseum, which is very cool, definitely old school.
We drove down on Friday, stayed in Santa Barbara and Ventura and drove into on Sunday for the game, followed up the game with some cruising in Beverly Hills and drove home from Ventura on Monday…. I want to go back to another game this season……not many games to choose from left…. SF and Arizona is out of the question because I can’t go during the holidays…..maybe ATL or Miami.
I’m trying to like Case, but he just doesn’t have the arm strength to throw the out routes……
What happened to the fucking run defense???????
WHOSE HOUSE???????????????

I was in Row 77, Gate 5, at the end of the press box.
This was the only game I could make this year. All the others are bad timing. I wasn’t going to go, but my son told me he thought we should attend a Rams’ game together. And I like my son (and it’s his first year away at college), so I looked at the schedule. Only this game fit.
And then…it turned out it coincided with a theatre teacher conference in North Hollywood that ran Friday – Sunday, and I had never been to one and always wanted to go. I mentioned it to the principal’s secretary and she said there was development money from the district to do that, and I thought, “Cool. Well, then, maybe…” And then I found out they would pay for my plane ticket, too. So the stars just aligned. I got to attend this fabulous conference on “the house,” and finished in time to take my son to a Rams game before flying home. It was a great weekend for me.
