I’m sure LaFleur learned some things in Atlanta last year. But, Kromer has not only been both an OL coach and coordinator before, he has had some say in different teams’ running games.

Last year Buffalo’s running game was 1st in yards AND significantly 1st in YPC with 5.3. The year before, also with Kromer, they averaged 4.8 YPC, which was also 1st in the league.

This year, with no major changes in personnel, Buffalo is 27th in YPC. Granted their LOT Glenn has missed a couple of games but that one change shouldn’t make that much difference.

Meanwhile in their last 2 games the Rams have averaged 4.66 a carry. Those numbers would rank 7th in the league.

I honestly think a lot of this is Kromer.

how much of that was roman and how much of that was kromer? how did he do at other stops?

i would be curious to know how much input from kromer, lafleur, and mcvay there was on the running game. and obviously they got input from gurley himself and looked at tape of gurley to find out what he did well.

whatever they’re doing, i hope it continues.

Yeah, they are already better than I thought they would be.
