Just re-watched game at Arizona

First off, Clemens was actually decent in this one, except for the pick six when Long got beat around the edge by Abraham, the second int was a 50/50 ball that Givens just got punked on over the middle by their Alabama S who hasn’t made one other single play in his career.

But what becomes so increasingly glaring is the play of Jenkins. he got punked all game by Fitzgerald and when he wasn’t getting beat he was getting flagged for one penalty after another…just embarrassing to watch.

Tru on the other hand, matched up against Fitz and did well. he was quick on the bubble screens and twice ROCKED Fitz on shorter passes then later was physical with Floyd in the EZ to break up what I am sure would have been a TD had JJ been the defender.

Another troubling thing I noticed was again (saw it vs Houston and Seattle too at times) Stacy has holes but stops his feet and tries to restart but gets pounded for no gain or a loss, and he does not seem comfortable catching the ball beyond the LOS either.

Quinn, even double and triple teamed just…keeps…causing…problems!

JLau good down field vs the pass but gets dragged for yards by the likes of Ellignton and Mendenhal.

Pead had a nice KOR that I didn’t recall before, perhaps because it was very late and I was throwing up somewhere…

Austin in space is so much fun to watch.

TJ shows a lot of promise. I had no feel for him coming in but I like his game more and more.

Givens had completely checked out prior to this one.

Cook was open deep on Washington for a long TD but Clemens badly underthrew him (maybe I better reconsider my first KC comments?)

Kendricks has just an OUTSTANDING down block on Stacy’s short TD run! (I would like to see the stills on that one!) They had a sweet, down low view of it on the short cut.

Cody Davis is a VERY under-rated ST’s guy…man he rocked Peterson in the open field on a PR.

Jake Long was not good in this game.
