    Personally, I like Boras.

i am okay with Boras, but I have to admit that it wouldn’t take much to look like an improvement over the Cignetti offense. Somebody mentioned Chudzinski. I remember liking what I read about him during a previous OC hunt. If he’s available, I’d kick the tires there, too. But I am fine with Boras.

What is more important is a QB and a WR.

Boras is fine. But, it really makes me no difference. I think getting better WRs and TEs is more important.

Three games ain’t enough to make an educated assessment. Win on Sunday, though, and wellllll… 😉

I do, however, like the idea of continuity. Would hate to have these guys go through another learning curve…

    Keep him.

Honestly what difference would an OC make with Fisher as Coach ? Norm Chow could only muster the 21st Offense in the league one year! Fisher has said over and over he wants to run the ball take shots through play action and play great special teams. I don’t care who you get , there’s only so much you can do with those parameters. Boras has improved the OL and the last thing they need is another big shakeup .

I’m fine with Boras but I absolutely want to see an upgrade at the receiver position.

He’s done well enough with what he has so far. May as well keep it going.

If Fisher flames out next year the whole thing will change anyway.

You know, there are those who claim the issue isn’t really the receivers. I will post some CoachO on this as soon as I dig it up.

The receivers are fine. They don’t need a total overhaul. IMO, they need a #1. If the Rams ever get a #1, all the other guys will be much more effective. They aren’t bad. But now with Bailey lost, they will definitely be acquiring help at that position, I have no doubt.

keep boras. draft a wr. but most importantly draft a qb. i think by far the rams biggest need at this point is quarterback.

    Some older things on Boras.

Tight ends coach Rob Boras: There are others on the current staff with more experience in the league and more experience as a coordinator, but Boras is the one many around the league think has the brightest future as a play caller. In fact, had Vanderbilt hired Brian Schottenheimer as its head coach last year, it’s all but certain the Rams were going to promote Boras to coordinator. Boras has been in the NFL for 11 years, all as an assistant, but did spend three years as offensive coordinator at UNLV. Boras knows the system, he knows Fisher and he knows the personnel. It wouldn’t be a surprise if he got the job.

Chicago tight end Desmond Clark, who showed a great appreciation for what Boras had done for him in his tenure there, said:

Rob Boras is a great coach, and I’ll be interested to see why they let him go…I think I just owe it to him to let people know what type of coach he was. He never stepped out in the media and said anything. He wasn’t a self promoter. He was a quiet guy who came in early in the morning and got his work done and left late at night…I don’t think it was a surprise to him. It was more of a surprise to me. I thought they knew what kind of coach they had in Rob Boras, and I thought they would go the extra mile with at least letting him interview for the coaching position once we got a new offensive coordinator.
