I am not a direct advocate of any of those options.

I would be fine with them trading UP. I know some aren’t. (Speak up, if so!)

I would be fine with them trading DOWN.

I would be fine with them staying put.

AS LONG as there’s a qb there in the 1st or 2nd round, I have no objections in principle to anything they do in terms of where they end up picking.

I am quite happy not making any trades at all. Just sitting and picking is fine.

I would rather trade down than up. More draft choices is a good thing.

I would virtually never trade into the top half of the first round. It is a seller’s market and the cost is prohibitive. imo

This is a good draft to take a QB somewhere, especially at 15. I would be ok with them not drafting a QB, although I like drafting a QB in every draft. I would settle for good players(talent not position).

I think that they should and will trade up. And I am in favor of it.

A QB is worth 5 of any other position. Draft picks come and go. Most people are disappointed with who is taken, or how each player ultimately performs. Not every pick turns into Aaron Donald. Two years from now, it will not matter if we traded the pick or if we took a wide receiver or defensive end. What will matter is if we have a young QB who looks like he is going to be able to take us to where we need to be. A team needs that centerpiece, emotionally, psychologically, and strategically. You have to do what you can to get one. There are 2 or maybe three guys who can be that guy this year. Go get one, and don’t look back.

If they think one of the main 3 QBs is worth it, then I am for a trade up. I don’t pretend to know if either Wentz, Lynch or Goff will be worth the investment of picks required in a trade up, but I believe that the Rams need to address the position. I love draft weekend and always want the Rams to have as many picks as possible, and I agree with those who argue that the Rams have several needs that could be addressed in this draft, but this seems like a crucial juncture for the Rams and the QB position.

Was just listening to Sirius and Gil Brandt mentioned that there isn’t much difference from player 17-50 that basically there was only 16 sure fire 1st round bets for him this year.

    I would not trade up.

The only position they’d probably trade for is QB. I can’t imagine what that would cost.

    No thanks.

yeah. no trade up. not worth it. i would, however, like them to be aggressive with that pick. don’t play it safe.

If they like Lynch it wouldn’t surprise me at all if they traded up to get him. Not into the top 5 obviously.

And my feeling is–sure, why not. A team isn’t as good if it has 21 sterling starters and a hole at qb.

They can add WRs and TEs etc. in later years…they cannot guarantee, however, that they will be able to add a qb in later years.

Browns set on taking Goff at Two

Just heard that on Sirius… This the season of misinformation and I think that’s exactly what it is…trying to pump up their trade market.

i don’t think the browns have any intention of drafting a qb. depodesta is an analytics guy. i just don’t see it happening. trade down and build up the defense is what they’re after.

Well now it’s in the past tense.

Not, are you for or against them possibly trading up?

Now it;s do you approve or disapprove of the trade up?
