    Let me emphasize for those unaware: DeSantis sent these migrant families to Martha’s Vineyard hoping for dysfunction. He wanted chaos. He wanted tension and anger. And he did this with children. He deliberately put kids into an uncertain situation on purpose. Do you get it now?

    While you’re 100% right, I love the fact that the people in Martha’s Vineyard responded with kindness, care, and compassion. DeSantis assumed, deep down, that those people would be as hateful as he is and he was wrong. That should be a meaningful part of this story!
