It’s one thing to keep Bradford to see if he can still play, but Jake is a different story. If as I expect both Jake and Wells go, then they can sign Barksdale. If Jones can play they won’t need a center. That would make it:

    Robinson OG Jones Saffold Barksdale

    Wouldn’t be bad at all.

They would need 3 more players — a Left OG, a “depth” guard who can maybe also play center or ROT, and a tackle project for depth behind LOT. They may already have one of those guys on the roster, just in embryonic form. v

The left OG can come from anywhere: a high pick, a free agent, a promising ronin (young vet who hasn’t landed his team yet). Chances are, they acquire a couple of different players at the same time, in a couple of different ways.

If Jones isn’t a player, then, center becomes the priority. You can always get by with dregs at LOG but obviously center is crucial.

Whoever qbs this team will land on one of the best Rams offenses in years.

I kind figured the same thing.

That sounds good to me, cause I wanted them to that this year. I would, however, be more aggressive adding Oline help in the draft.

yeah i’m liking that a lot. bringing three starters back. a guy who’s been in the system for two years and just one new guy.
