Grits, I’m just concerned that if the team doesn’t get a big win in the next couple of weeks that the attitude of the group will begin to come undone. They’ve got be getting frayed. This was supposed to be a breakout year for them and it has unraveled very quickly. Their heads have to be swimming. I’ll have a ton of respect for them if they can hold it together through all of this.
What is the solution to this teams problems. Other teams have figured out that getting the ball out quicker and running the football is a good way to neutralize a good pass rush. OK, FINE….is there no counter to this strategy? IF there is, what is it?
I think the “exotic” blitzes are just creating opening to dink, dunk, and run.
So far, Fisher’s best defensive coordinater was no defensive coordinater.
