    and I can confirm that indeed…ice is cold.

    Some tips:

    Do not sit while someone is pouring ice water on you. The ice just sort of hangs there. If you stand it drops off.

    Have it done quickly–poured over your head is best–NOT a slow long pour on the back of the neck that NEVER seems to end.

    Do not make a jerk of your wife while pouring ice on her head or you WILL be called out on a challenge.

    Oh, so this is some viral thing, huh? Because it’s going around our school district now. I was challenged yesterday by the band teacher, and am evidently the third generation in the district.

    Yeah it is to raise money and awareness of ALS better known as Lou Gehrig’s disease.
    And to have some fun.
    We donated at http://www.alsa.org and did the challenge.
    Soon everyone in America will have been challenged.
    Anyway it has been a huge success. So far they have raised 52 million dollars.
