    how?

i hope anchrum has a future with this team. starting next season as the center.

drafting olinemen will be most likely for the future. so how do they improve the oline in 21???

just develop the ones they have now and hope one or two or three of them continue to develop?

center seems like a major issue to me that needs to be addressed.

They need to think about left OT too IMO.

Yeah all they can do is the traditional acquisition mode–draft picks, UDFAs, “ronin” (ie young vets who have been cut).

I’m gonna guess that there isn’t much of a plan here.

Ignoring the O-line might be a major weakness for McVay & Snead. Not re-signing Saffold in 2019 looks like a major mistake in retrospect. The plan to replace Saffold & Sullivan was lousy in 2019.

We’ll see what the rest of the off-season brings, but not upgrading this o-line when the best player is probably the LOT who will be 40 years old? That’s not an inspiring plan.

Especially for a 33 year old quarterback who historically takes a lot of sacks.

i’m more than a little worried.

i have no idea if whit comes back. i have no idea how they replace him if/when he does leave.

i was assuming a left tackle would be gotten in the draft – like with a first round pick…

    It’s a dilemma.

The younguns should get incrementally better with another year. Sounds like whit is coming back for another year which helps. Akers should be better in his second year which also helps.

It’s strange to me that in several of these videos reference the QBs, folks talk about how the Rams Oline is better and I get the impression the consensus is, at worst, middle of the pack in the NFL. I thought we gave up way too much pressure up the middle and they did not play THAT well, but maybe I’m wrong. Maybe all they need is a little incremental improvement to be…good.
