McCleod is doing very well with the Eagles.

But I am okay with the Rams letting him walk.

Way I see it, the team has a high success rate producing DBs. In fact in 2014 no one here would rate McLeod that high. They made him what he is. They have done it with others (Gaines, McDonald, Joyner).

As it stands right now the Rams rank 12th on passing D and that’s with a couple of down games (like Detroit) and with injuries (Johnson).

In fact this is the only team I can think of that produced 2 top CBs in the same draft without using a 1st round pick (Jenkins and Johnson). There may be others scattered throughout NFL history but it’s certainly not common. For that matter, McLeod is from 2012 also so that’s 3 DBs from 2012. Name someone who has done better than that.
Then in 2014 they add Joyner, Alexander, and Gaines in the same draft.

So in my opinion, you don’t overpay for an area where you have a strength finding and developing players. I just think there will be more McLeods.

His play if correct could move our company pick to a 3rd round pick. Part of it, means getting into the Pro Bowl.

I don’t think that’s based on how he plays though…it’s based on the contract. As it stands the Rams already estimate a 4th round pick.

They could get a 6th for Farley, too.

I thought it was s combination of factors. Then again, what do I know? I believe I would be safer around vampires, than wolves or zombies. I like the first Alien movie with Sigourney Weaver over the first Predator movie which starred putArnold Schwarzenegger. Then again, that is me. I also hate romantic comedies. Just saying.

And you’re saying that could help the running game?

Yes. That was one tough alien. I bet he would be our top WR as well.
