    I can’t believe that I’m pulling for the Nittany Lions. I don’t follow college football much (nominally a USC fan, but I don’t watch when they’re no good which has been 10 or so years).

    But I hate Notre Dame.

    I hate them for a very good reason, and I will never stop unhating them.

    When I was a kid, I looked forward to watching cartoons on Sunday mornings. I wasn’t allowed to watch TV on Saturday because I was brought up in a religion that observed Saturday (like the Bible says to, btw). So all I had was Sunday morning.

    And during the Fall, one of the 2 stations that ever showed cartoons on Sunday would play a 1/2 hour highlight package of the previous day’s Notre Dame game.

    So. Go Penn State.

    Maybe try completing a pass to a Wide Receiver once or twice. I hear that’s all the rage with modern offenses.

    That’s so passe. The “in” thing to do is to hold the ball a long time, move out of the pocket to the left, and then throw back over the middle to a covered receiver.
