    The second one, the holding, is just completely preposterous. Sims clearly and obviously just takes on the guy as if he were a blocker, which he had every reason to think he was.

    I was thinking the roughing call was the most absurd. The only contact is a pat on the shoulder pad. He actually tried to block the pass, then moved to avoid contact with Romo.

    Isn’t contact with a receiver OK before five yards? The holding is called behind the line. I guess it wasn’t an illegal contact call, but was that receiver not, by design, supposed to screen a rusher as his route runs parallel with Romo’s rollout?

    3rd and 22 from their own 9 with 2:26 left. I though the Rams had all their timeouts, but the screen looks like it says they have two, plus the 2min. warning. Whatever. On to the next one.

    There are plays that fans just never forget, if a close loss
    is involved.
    The bogus Tom Mack false start against the Purple Gang.
    The Drew Pearson push-off against the Vikings in the playoffs.
    The Brady fumble against the Raiders.
    The 49er vs Seattle noncall in the endzone.
    The botched call that went against the Packers in Seattle, etc, etc.

    The Sims ‘penalties‘
    will not be forgotten
    by Ram fans.

    Awful loss.
    Still, they looked a gazillion times better
    than last year when Dallas slapped them silly.
    Dallas didnt have to cheat last year.

    makes me sick just looking at it…

    rewatching it doesn’t diminish the disgust…
