    Yes–I’m quite sure that if he had posted winning records the Rams would have found some way to get rid of him before opening the new stadium. That’s just bitter talk. I’d be surprised if he got another HC job.

    This contrasts with his previous statement that he would coach the Rams for a long time.

    I think he counted on assurances from SK. Those assurances were good until the recent non-competitive collapse games. He is taking that as meaning the assurances were never real.

    Which is fine with me, heck it’s like a player who doesn’t believe he’s injured enough to sit but wants to play, he believes he could have turned it around. To me that just means he’s competitive.

    Which is fine. My team’s ex-coach can be competitive that way. Doesn’t matter to me.

    I am more worried about Demoff and Snead doing something they have never done before, which is hire a coach.

    Shaw: Brooks.

    Shaw: Martz.

    That’s all a hit or miss thing anyway.

    I’m sure they will hire a guy who SHOULD be capable of winning–he’ll have a good resume.

    After that it’s hit or miss.
