Gurley.
He breaks out this week.
Yeah, I’ve been waiting for one of his patented breakaway open field runs. I was hoping he’d get one against Seattle. I bet he has at least two in Tampa.
Gurley is developing a bit of a pattern. He either has the 3.8 yards per carry game. Or he breaks one or two big ones and his stats are high.
He doesn’t seem like the ol’ Lawrence McCutcheon 4 yards and a cloud of dust–a guy who is steady but maybe a little boring. He either hits the home run or strikes out.
I’d like to see him a bit steadier in games when his longest run is 9 yards. Hit more of the 4 or 5 yards gainers.
Of course the offensive line(according to the rules of the NFL)is allowed to block for him.
