    I saw a good film today on dvd: The President.
    Film by Iranian director Mohsen Makhmalbaf. It reminded me a bit of The Motorcycle Diaries. It has a slow, steady, unfolding kinda quality.

    Possibly the best child-acting I’ve ever seen by the young child who co-stars in the film.

    I would have written a different ending, but the ending was ok.
