    I’m told special teams coordinator John Fassel will be named interim head coach for the #Rams in the wake of Jeff Fisher’s firing.

    Just found out they fired Fisher…just wow.

    I find it curious they are gonna go with Fassel, who only has experience as a ST guy, when Fish has,I believe, 3 former head coaches on the payroll.

    Fassel makes sense. Boras has to run the offense and Williams has to run the defense. Fassel deserves the honor given how well his special teams have played since he’s been with the Rams.

    Of course, no way does Fassel remain HC beyond this season, unless the Rams win the remaining 3 games by a combined score of 150 to 0.

    I reckon Fassel will return to his special teams duties next season under the new head coach.

    The rest of the current coaches will likely be gone.

    Let’s hope not.

    If nothing else, Waufle is one of the 2-3 best DL coaches in the game.
