    By the director of “Arrival” which i happen to think is a little gem of a movie.

    Dune is one of my favorite books of all time. But I don’t need another Dune movie. Dune was just the first book in a whole series of books. I would like to see them do some of the later Dune novels into movies.

    Wow, that is funny. My daughter bought the novel for my son for Christmas, and he promptly forgot it in the car when we moved him back to Boston. I’m going to see him tomorrow for dinner and a frozen food drop off, so he’s getting his book!

    Whose bright idea was it to do a remake of Dune? Say what you will about the David Lynch movie, it definitely had its moments. I especially like Sting chewing on the scenery….

    before lynch took it over jodorowski was supposed to make dune.

    i wish i coulda seen that one.

    that film which never actually got made went on to influence other films such as alien.

    it would have been a spectacle for sure.
