that guy jake really loves tegray scales. another prospect i know nothing about. but i looked him up. tons of production. tackles. tackles for losses. lots of sacks. interceptions.

sounds like competition for barron or at the very least a special teams phenom.

He is getting a lot of buzz from the draftnik posters on the different boards. I just put something up about him at the end of this thread: http://theramshuddle.com/topic/tweets-4-28-for-udfas/

It seems like this draft had a lot of talent in the lower rounds and beyond. The Rams did a good job of addressing needs, filing holes, and finding fits. I do think they passed on talent that I would not have passed on, therefore I don’t think this was a great draft. I am OK with their draft. I just think they could have done better.

i question some of the picks for sure. i realize oline depth was a concern. but yeah. i think i woulda gone for talent over need.

This approach worked fine last year when the draft talent and the Rams needs matched. But this year it didn’t. The Rams didn’t make bad picks, but I think they could have better picks.

i think you’re thinking specifically edge rushers.

i woulda done the same. ebukam, sweat, and okoronkwo woulda been a good rotation i think.

i think they coulda gotten allen later.

i did like the noteboom pick. a lot. i understand what jake was saying about crosby being a little more versatile. i don’t see noteboom playing guard. but the potential for me woulda been too hard to pass up. i think he’s got a real chance to be able to play left tackle. and i don’t know that i’d pass that up in the third round.

i’m also not sure about franklin-myers. although i admit i haven’t seen these guys play.

but again. and maybe it’s just me being too narrowly focused. but i thought the rams had a chance to build a vicious front seven. maybe it still is. but josh sweat could have been a real find in the fourth round. instead he goes to a very strong philly team who – if things go right for the rams – will be the main obstacle to the rams getting to a superbowl.
