I rewatched Dark City. When i first watched it, long ago, i thought it was lame. But after seeing it again, i changed my mind. Its got its lame moments, but its an interesting film. Noir-Sci-Fi. Humans as lab-rats. What are humans without their true memories? What are humans with implanted-memories?

An odd, creepy little sci-fi film. I put it up there with Pitch Black.
Second-tier. Not quite Alien or Blade-Runner, but the next tier down.
Not elite. It cant carry the audience on its back like an elite film, but given the right director and cast, it can win a ring.

The commentary on the DVD was by Roger Ebert, who did a wonderful job. The commentary was as good as the film.
