    So, is it fair to say, before Kupp went down last season, there were tons of ‘big chunk’ plays during the games? I seem to recall Gurley just running wild on short pass plays, etc. Lots of Gurley chunk plays.

    We dont see those much anymore, it seems. Maybe I’m wrong but thats how it seems.

    Is this simply “the league catching up with McVay” ?

    Or am i wrong, and there are other explanations? Or am i wrong that there are fewer chunk plays lately?

    Yes it’s inevitable. The Rams were the most studied offense going into 2018.The OL is not dominant like it was in The past. Staying on last season they played 19 games including 3 playoff games so no one is asking Sean who? Still they get their share of chunks. The OL will get better and Goff gets more time. You would think the saints were game planning for that game as soon as the schedule came out.

    Is it my imagination or are teams just taking away Gurley’s chunk plays completely, more or less.
    Theyre gonna make Goff beat them.

    Specifically to Gurley it looked like they were daring the Rams to run it only rushing 3 much of the time. I will say that Gurley doesn’t look the same as he did and he has been dropping passes going back to the playoffs.

    It seemed both teams were sitting on the dump off routes to Gurley in the screen game.
