    All things considered, you can’t ask much more of the Rams’ defense in this half. One big explosive but two field goals in the red zone and only 13 points allowed.

    When they started throwing the ball more, they threw two interceptions that salted a game that had been close ONLY because the Rams were being conservative (and playing mostly good defense).

    Thought Rams special teams were the best I’ve seen tonight. Thought that RZ defense, especially against this group, deserves some praise. Not sure what anybody expected to happen with offense in its current state, but I think Perkins can win the Rams a couple down the stretch.

    this Bryce Perkins thing is more fun/entert aining to watch right now than watching Matthew Stafford get absolutely bodied back there. I’d rather watch whatever this worse version of the offense/team is than watch Stafford get killed back there for no reason at all and risk further damage.

    RB Kyren Williams said he felt like he left some yards on the field. Kept repeating to himself, “make a freakin’ play.” Then on the 4th and 2, he picked up a key block to assist with a TD. “If I’m on the football field, and I shy away from contact, take me off the field.”‘

    “We’ve got full trust in Bryce, we trust him,” Ernest Jones told me postgame. “He’s gonna come to play each and every week that he gets opportunities.” Nobody, including Rams, knows what happens next few weeks with Matthew Stafford. But defense wanted Perkins to feel believed in.

    Chiefs didn’t score TDs on 12 of their 43 red zone trips this season. Today, they didn’t score a TD on 5 of their 6. Rams defense did its job
