Burn some sage or some type of herb at the game so your evil curse would lift the demons away. Blow it to the Eagles if you can.

vWell my years of fine tuned and battle tested football knowledge tells me this about that.
It’s wit + worth, v. clown.
Obvious advantage, Rams.
UNLESS he’s one of those Stephen King type sinister clowns.
Then maybe it’s trouble.
Redrum, redrum.

Ever notice that redrum spelled backwards is “No sacks, no hits, no hurries?”

As your lawyer, I strongly recommend burning “some type of herb” before, during and after the game.

In 2009, I got a mild but lovely euphoric ‘high’ from this mix:
Saffron
Fennagreek
Cloves
Anise
Cardemon
CinnamonMix it in a bowl and sniff it.
Go Rams.

November 11, 2017 at 12:57 pm #77305PA RamParticipantThis game scares me. It’s the perfect game for a letdown. They are something like 11 point favorites–they’re getting great press. Things are going so well.
Still–they say they are taking them all one game at a time. I hope that’s true.
They should win this one. SHOULD.

i think they will not have a letdown.
they haven’t played a home game in like what? a month? and no i don’t count the arizona game as a home game.
the last time they played at the coliseum was against seattle. it was a big letdown. home crowds have been sparse.
but since then they’ve gained a tremendous amount of momentum. i think they’ll come out wanting to prove something. i think they want to get la on their side. the playoffs are over, and a big win over houston would go well with la fans getting over the world series loss.
my guess is they’ll want to come out and just smear them. bury them under an avalanche of touchdowns. and i think the fans have been watching from afar the past month and there should be a bigger turnout.
i don’t know. i just get the sense that people here are itching to hop on the bandwagon, and the rams really want to come here and prove that they’re for real at home. that combo should be enough for no possibility of a letdown tomorrow.
November 11, 2017 at 3:42 pm #77308ZooeyModeratorI just went to Stubhub to check on tickets. They don’t have a lot left for tomorrow’s game. I don’t know if they represent only some of the tickets, or if they have access to all unsold tickets. I don’t know how ticketing works. But several sections are sold out, and the remaining sections have an average of a dozen or so seats left. Whatever.
Anyway…I am saving all my fretting for the game against the Vikings whom I loathe. And have reason to fear. The Texans cannot score enough. It would take a giant turd of a game by the Rams to lose this game, and I just don’t see any stretches of that at all, let alone any reason to think it’s possible for them to lay one out for an entire game.
The team looks focused and prepared to me, and well-coached. So well-coached that for the first time since Vermeil, I see a team capable of making meaningful halftime adjustments.
The Rams have laid absolute waste to bad football teams (with the early exception of the 9ers whom they merely beat convincingly in their first real game under McVay). The next time the Rams lose, it will be to a team that is better than they are, not to a team that is AS good, or inferior.
November 11, 2017 at 3:47 pm #77309ZooeyModeratorI just checked ticketmaster.
The game is going to sell out, or come very close to it. Both ticket websites I checked show only a few HUNDRED seats for sale.

So, you’re implying it’s possible for a team to be AS good or even BETTER than the Rams?!
Gawd, I wish Rams players visited this site. Your posts would make excellent bulletin board fodder for the upcoming Seahawks game.

Spoken like a true Seahawks fan.
True Rams Fans know the Rams don’t need bulletin board material for the Seahawks.

Are you in LA?
When I was there last October, the Rams were everywhere.
No sign of them in this August anywhere in the city.

Of course the Rams don’t NEED bulletin board material.
But true Rams fans know the players LIKE to read it.
When absolute perfection renders all those practices unnecessary, reading the incoherent drivel of Seahawks fans can break up the monotony.

You guys are so fiercely dedicated to fighting over who is the real Rams fan that you may have overlooked something.
Are these in fact actually the Rams?
Yeah the gear looks the same, but that’s a superficial thing, like the record and the game scores.
So ask yourself this. Where are the injuries? Where are the defensive fouls? Where are the controversial comments from the head coach? Where are the arrests? How come no one is saying a thing about which photos of former players are or are not on the walls at team headquarters?
I don’t mean to spook anyone, but…I dunno man. Something kind of “alternative universe” is going on, you know?

well now i’m in santa barbara county. but my wife and i have family and friends back in los angeles, so we go there a lot. lately i’ve seen more gear everywhere. in los angeles. and even occasionally up here. jerseys. bumper stickers. i went to three games last year. the first game i went to there was rams gear everywhere because it was gameday and the rams had just arrived. but by the end. the niner game in december. there were a lot less. and in fact i was surrounded by niners fans the entire game.
i haven’t gone to any rams games this year. but just casually i will see people in rams gear. driving down to los angeles, i see cars with rams bumper stickers on and such. i think momentum has been slowly building up again especially with the team being away for a month and just pummeling other teams. so if they can come back to the coliseum and lay a beatdown, i think fans will jump on the bandwagon.
i could be imagining things. but i see a difference between just this past august to now in november.
