I have had the NFL Sunday ticket since its introduction in 1994. For the last 10-15 years, I have had just the NFL Sunday ticket—no Direct TV. The last five plus years I didn’t even have a dish setup—I just streamed the games through the app.

AT&T changed the DirectTV policy this season, and now you must pay for a regular DirectTV package, like $69/mo, before you can pay another $395 for the NFL Sunday Ticket Max package.

I had to cancel, and will no longer have access to out of market Rams games for the first time in 26 years. Eff you AT&T.

The contract is out for bid for the 2022 season. Hopefully the streaming package will be broken out from satellite to a more capable provider.

I too was grandfathered-in to buy ST as a standalone package without a monthly tv package

But those bastards forced me to buy a monthly package when I updated my box to Hi-Def….. Initially I refused to upgrade and I would watch the games on my old DTV converter to avoid the monthly fee and I put up with a terrible TV picture on my flat screen…. it was awful… like a TECMO Football game

I finally caved in a got the HD box and bought the monthly fee, then I would suspend my service durning non football season.

I finally canceled everything when the Rams moved back to LA and I found other ways to watch the game.
