Whenever I post links, it always seems to trigger the spam filter, so I’ll leave them out for now.

I am sorry for the inconvenience caused by our over-zealous spam-blocker. I would defund it but I don’t know how (topical joke).

Anyway please give this a read. There’s several ways to speed up responds to spam-marked “pending” posts.

    1. BT, but also others–if you actually are going to post a bunch of links and are worried about the Mad Spam Blocker, one simple thing is to put them in a 2nd post, where the 1st post says “links in following post” or something like that. If it gets spam-marked, I can just then “approve” it. That’s not always as quick as we like but it can work.

    2. You can alert me. See the little “chat box” on the lower right? That’s actually a pm system. If you open it and click my name, you then get a message box, and can leave a quick message. BT knows this and has already done it, so here’s an example:

    ..

    3. It might speed things up for when I am not around if other mods just got in the habit of checking for “pending” posts. That way it’s not just me. It’s simple and easy and I can tell you how to do it. If you’re interested, look at point #2 and leave me a pm that way. I will then post instructions on the Board Policies & Issues board on how to check for “pending” posts. It just takes a minute to do once you know how.
