30(T). Los Angeles Rams
This should really be the Press Box Portable ranking when it comes to the Rams, whose temporary press setup in 2018 left the media munching on PB&J, fruit, chips and milk — a perfect lunch for a middle school trip to the zoo but a less than ideal meal for an NFL game (aside from the postgame wine in the mini-fridge). I wish I could detail the spread in 2019 when I was there for Sunday Night Football in December, but, somehow, they ran out of food — whatever it was — before kickoff. There wasn’t a postgame spread, either. Unreal. I’ve never seen anything like that before, even going back to my days covering college sports. So, I wound up roaming the concourse and buying a really dry teriyaki chicken bowl and taking it back up to the press box. Word is the spread there typically has a taco bar, but I can neither confirm nor deny. There was no rule against postgame beer, though, which is always an A+ element in my book. That’s about the only aspect the Rams should carry over into their new stadium.
The Rams’ setup belongs in the Shaqtin A’ Fool Hall of Fame. C’mon, man.
