RM fixed everything. Thanks RM.
No need to do nothin, just hit “quote” to your heart’s content.

I love and enjoy this board and the gang that posts here.
But the software has a couple of quirks.
One of them shows up in quoting. If you just hit “quote” and your response contains quotes within quotes, the software tends to copy the code as is without hiding it, and that means board mods have to clean it up. You have no idea how much work that is.
My approach? Don’t hit “quote.” Do it this way instead.
(Note: my description here assumes you know little or nothing about net posting technical stuff so it’s deliberately basic. For those who know more…just bear with. It’s a public courtesy thing.)
Use your cursor to “blue out” the parts of a post you want to quote, THEN hit “quote.”
It looks like this, except blue not gray:
Doing it that way gets you a clean quote box in your post.
If more people did this the mods would have less board clean up work to do.

So that’s when you just hit “quote.” Every time you DON’T see the code in a quote box in a post, it is because a mod cleaned it up.
Versus this if you do it the way I describe above:

Thanks.
