    #Rams Cowboys Film: Goff played well enough, but some important learning points he can take away from this game. Good film session, I’m sure

    #Cowboys Film: #Rams went back to same wheel concept as Higbee 29 yds. Goff predetermined Higbee and nearly threw INT. Woods uncovered.

    #Rams Film: overall Goff looking better in the pocket. Plays tall with high release point, staying firm more often, keeps eyes downfield.

    #Cowboys Film: can see the speed and athleticism with Jaylon Smith. He’s had a solid first quarter of the season.

    Film: Woods nice “dig” route on “dagger” for 17 yds, converting 3rd-13 with #Rams backed up. #Cowboys in Cover 4 to that side.

    #Rams Film: Kupp polished, efficient route runner. Can see him becoming a better version of Adam Thielen (another polished, really good WR).

    Film: Gurley 53yd TD seam route from backfield w/ Austin ghost reverse (#Rams had been setting it up all game). #Cowboys Cover 3 exploited.

    Film: Looks like a totally different #Rams OL. Returners Brown, Havenstein and Saffold playing very well. OL Coach is Aaron Kromer.

    Film: #Rams vast majority of 2×2 formations, often condensed. Clearly felt that was best way to play Cowboys (a team McVay knows well).

    Cowboys Film: #Rams zone run-blocking was outstanding. Consistently clean lanes for Gurley.

    #Rams Film: will be interesting to see how long it takes Goff to break habit of backing up slightly in pocket. Subtle factor on a few plays.

    #Rams #Cowboys Film: C Sullivan tremendous reach-seal block vs. DT Price on Gurley 17 yds.

    Film: #Cowboys a lot of 2-high S looks (presnap), #Rams some success running inside zone against it.

    #Cowboys Film: #Rams lined up Donald at RDT so he could face LG Cooper. Donald dominated him first two series.

    #Rams #Cowboys Film: NT Tanzel Smart flashed as phone booth run defender vs. Frederick first two series.

    #Cowboys #Rams Film: There were Also snaps where Frederick handled DT Smart. Elliott 10 yds 2nd series an example.

    #Rams #Cowboys Film: Brockers sack (created by Donald beating LG Cooper) he aligned at DE, beat RT Collins with strong long-arm type move.

    #Cowboys Film: Cooper at LG was an issue. Came to a head with mental and physical mistakes to derail two 2-pt tries mid-4th qtr.

    #Cowboys Film: Bryant 18 yds big-time QBing Prescott. Saw Ogletree coming clean and climbed pocket for timing throw, knew hit was coming.

    #Cowboys Film: Prescott missed on a few throws. Has lately been a playmaker more than a ball-distributor.

    #Cowboys Film: WR Bryant continued to struggle against press coverage (Trumaine Johnson). Production came vs. off-coverage.

    #Rams DL Brockers has great technique and the strength to use it for disengaging from blocks.

    #Cowboys Film: Elliott runs with a powerful swivel. Very good on wind-backs and related styles.

    #Cowboys Film: 3rd-4 red zone #Rams doubled Beasley and Witten, leaving CB Johnson 1 on 1 vs. Bryant near boundary. Johnson won thoroughly.

    #Rams #Cowboys Film: Brockers deflection prevented a likely pick-6 for Davis. Prescott rushed snap out of empty w/ not everyone on same page

    #Rams #Cowboys Film: FS Davis poor job from centerfield on Morris 70-yd counter run.
