the back breaker was not scoring the TD when they had 1st and goal in the 4th….

The third down call, and the decision
to kick a FG on 4th down were interesting to me.
It kinda showed that Fisher had just given up
on the idea of pounding the ball into the endzone
against that Cardinal front seven. Even
Fisher didnt believe they could beat that
    Cardinal front with ram-power.

That sez somethin about the Ram OLine,
    maybe.

I understood why Fisher didn’t go for it on 4th and 1, but I was surprised he didn’t go for it.

What have you got to lose at this point in the season?

Had they scored 7 it would be easier to game plan for a 60 yarder for Zerlein. If the Rams get stuffed, they have the Cards pinned.

The Rams ended up getting the ball back twice anyway.

“(Greg Robinson) wasn’t the problem last night period.
But Barksdale got smoked. Joseph was bad, Wells had a poor game and
Saffold was inconsistent you can tell he is hurt.”

    ….
(On the plays G.Robinson was beat) “…On those pressures…They were delayed blitzes by a DB way outside him.
Without knowing what the blocking scheme was we really dont know if it was him making a mistake or simply doing what was called.
He wasnt beaten by the guy in his face much all night.”

(On if Arizona Defensive Coordinator Todd Bowles is particularly exotic with his blitzes)
“No, they’re just coming from all over. Got to get them blocked up. You step up and occupy somebody and bring somebody. We had some mistakes in the backfield. We had a couple mistakes that (T) Greg (Robinson) made. Didn’t squeeze, didn’t kick. Just one of those things we’ve got to get better at.”

Yeah, GR has some learnin ta do.
But i think he will learn. Physically
    he can be a beast.

I’m still happy with the GR pick.
    If he’s still struggling late
    next year, I’ll start worrying.

Worst Case Scenario — he cant be consistent
at Tackle, so they move him inside and he’s
    an AllPro Guard.

    Hill. Missed crucial throws.

Shottenheimer. Why Shottenheimer? It’s simple. They lost. Rule of thumb: if you lose, blame the offensive coordinator. That’s as universal as “thunderstorm? The gods are angry.”

    Fisher.

The OL. Got beat up by Arz.

Boudreau. Should have gotten a rookie LOT to play at a high level by now. Look at the superior coach, Arians. He has a 5 year vet LOT playing at a much higher level than the Rams raw rookie LOT. Nuff said. s

    The run D.

Jenkins and Mason. 3 mistakes, leads to 9 points, which is the difference in the game.

Williams. Cause logically, seeing a game with a suddenly regressing run D and Jenkins on an island to get burned, goes to the coordinator.

My own feeling? This is like the Seattle game in 2010. There is nothing more frustrating for fans as a group, as a loss after expectations have been raised.
