I think that’s fair (so far). And that’s the thing too…you can see it right off the bat, cause we all saw it last year too, even in limited play. “It” here being the ability to be a very good NFL receiver.

Austin Franklin’s TD was an impressive bit of route running,he made his rep count one target one TD.

Bailey. Yeah, nice.

From what I’ve seen the defense has some work to do, especially in the running game, eh? Clearly they will be putting a ton of pressure on QB’s. The response will be quick passes.

EJ Gaines looked no different than at Mizzou. Physical, great tackler. Occasional mistakes and up and down in coverage. I think he’ll be a decent pro player.

I thought Gaines did well ,when he made a mistake he would come back the next play having learned from it.The run D will be greatly improved when the starters actually play. We’ll definitely see the short passing game but the way Donald was penetrating last night,put Brockers or Langford next to him and JL,Jenks,Tru and Joyner behind him and the short game is no walk in the park.
