    I just realized he is going to make a little over $2 Million this season. I wonder if the Rams are restructuring his contract or will release him? No way with his small size which is hovering around 300 pounds, should not be make more than $1 Million.

    To me, Blythe was the weak link on the OLine. He is not worth $2 Million, under $ 1 Million yes. Just saying.

    Jack, I don’t think teams regularly go around asking players to give back money. I think that’s a very rare thing. I think in fact that’s mostly a fantasy us fans have.

    If Blythe can’t cut it they should just replace him.

    I think both he and Sullivan fared poorly in some games. But then for all we know, being next to a better center may improve things.

    And Kromer has a long history of knowing his guards. This goes way back. If he likes Blythe there’s probably a good reason for it.

    We’ll see.

    I think the cap number on Blythe is a mistake. Higbee has the same mistake. I think it should be 720K. The number quoted, by both web sites is the cap number for a low end rfa. I think that number was entered by mistake and both sites get their numbers from the same place. I hope the Rams caught this. I think the 4 year vet. min. would be correct. imo
    The total contract number matches when the 720 figure is used.
