Donald v. Mack. Donald is the superior player, doing more for his team as an interior lineman facing constant double teams than Mack does as an outside linebacker. And Mack is really, really good, Just not Donald good.

Cooper Kupp is good to go for Sunday, Sean McVay said. Sam Shields’ availability seems in question because of an illness. He might not fly with team today.

Rams-Saints betting line has been interesting. Vegas consensus started at Rams -1, then quickly swung to Saints -1.5, and now is back to Rams -1.

#Rams’ Todd Gurley has faced a loaded box (8+ defenders) on 17.2% of his carries through W8, the second-lowest percentage among qualifying RBs.

LAR’s offense has only called 63 plays against a loaded box, the second-lowest mark in the NFL.

Establish the pass to set up the run.

McVay also says CB Sam Shields illness is flu-related. Shields may not travel with the team today, but could still meet the team in New Orleans before the game.

yeah. and donald might be the best he’s ever been.

when a guy gets double teamed almost twice as often as the next closest defender and he still leads the league in sacks? yeah. not even close.

hopefully, fowler or anyone really can start to take advantage of that. they say the jags defensive line is loaded. but i don’t see anyone on that line drawing close to the attention that donald is.

I’ve said this before, but one analysis from last year had him facing multiple blockers more often–83% of the time. And last year he had 11 sacks.
