Sorry to see Jamon Brown go. Very good guy. Effective starter until season-opening suspension, then Austin Blythe gave them no reason to switch back. Jamon will get a job

Many wondered if Rams would upgrade at cornerback. 1) Given cap issues, they probably had to choose between OLB and CB. 2) Talib will be back, and a (presumably) stronger pass rush with Fowler will help current corners.

Rams’ first-rounders on defense: Aaron Donald, Ndamukong Suh, Michael Brockers, Mark Barron, Dante Fowler, Aqib Talib, Marcus Peters. When everyone is healthy, that’s 7 of 11 starters.

FYI on the release of #Rams Jamon Brown: Rookie center Brian Allen played guard as well as center at Michigan State and rookie Joe Noteboom cross-trained at guard during camp and preseason.

That said: Best of luck to @JB_The_GREAT_68 Really good dude. It was a pleasure dealing with him the last three years

    Rams Q&A: Vinny Bonsignore

They were getting a lot of heat on Goff. Not many guys can play well in that situation. Once they handled it better, he got better. He also got hit a lot. That takes a toll. I think he’ll be fine.

Packers did a great job with their blitz packages. Some things they did didn’t show up on tape. Also, not every team has a guy like Clay Matthews or Blake Martinez who made their presence felt all game. As game went on Rams made adjustments

Packers covered the back end, as well as any team, has this year against the Rams. Excellent, excellent coverage to go along with a great pressure scheme. A team will have to duplicate the plan and execution to perfection to come close to what the Packers did.

They just released brown. Surprising because he provided quality depth.

They had to make some money room to add Fowler, so hand was forced a bit. Don’t forget rookie Brian Allen played both guard and center at Michigan State and Joe Noteboom cross-trained at guard in camp.

In talking to Rams, it’d be great if Obo is ready and he’s got one more week to show he is and if so, he’ll be on the roster regardless of today’s developments. At the same time, they understand it’s very difficult as a rookie to miss the kind of time he did and just walk onto an NFL field midseason and be ready.\

I think as the Vikings showed last week, there are ways to slow Drew down. But what Rams can’t do – and what the Vikings did – was turn the ball over

I think they believe if Peters stays within himself and plays to the scheme/responsibility he’ll be fine. But he has to do that. It’s definitely worth monitoring. He’s got a lot of time to show he can be a long-term piece

Rams won the offseason, went undefeated in their first half of their season and now may have won the trade deadline

The Rams waived OG Jamon Brown to make room on the 53-man roster for Dante Fowler. Brown started 16 games at RG in 2017, but was suspended for the first two games this season and lost his starting spot after Austin Blythe performed well in his absence. Brown was the only veteran backup on the line, which is now down to 7 players, including LT Andrew Whitworth, LG Rodger Saffold, C John Sullivan, RG Austin Blythe, RT Rob Havenstein and rookie backups Joe Noteboom and Brian Allen.

Rams are down to 7 linemen on 53-man roster. The two backups are rookies

ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm…. that’s assuming fowler is a starter. i’m skeptical. he’s supposed to suck defending the run…

i read that he got hurt on a sack or hit in the niners game. i can’t remember. maybe i imagined it.
