    Nice Sports movie. Bollywood. “Lagaan” its called.

    Its also a political movie. Based on a ‘true story.’

    The British Empire is the evil force in the movie and an Indian village fights against an oppressive ‘lagaan’ or tax. The issue is decided by…a game of cricket.

    The climactic cricket game lasts for…oh…bout an hour. Not kidding.

    Also….possibly the only movie in existence where an “untouchable” with a mean curve ball plays a sports hero.
